Cathy Miron is CEO of eSilo and a data protection and cybersecurity expert. As a speaker, trainer, and certified small business mentor with 20 years of combined business and IT experience, Cathy and her team help businesses mitigate the risk of cyberattacks and other IT disasters with backup and cybersecurity solutions.
Cathy brings over 14 years of Fortune 100 experience to her clients. She began her career at General Electric and worked extensively in their corporate IT audit and banking divisions before moving up to GE headquarters as one of their chief technology officers. During her time at GE, Cathy led multi-million dollar improvement programs in the areas of business resiliency, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
Outside of work, Cathy is active in the small business community and volunteers as a technology subject matter expert and mentor for SCORE. She is a member of the Board of Directors for South Florida Tech Hub and serves on the Technology Advisory Committee for the 10th largest public school district in the country.
Personal: I live in the Jupiter area with my husband, son (6), and daughter (8). We are fitness enthusiasts, pushing our limits this year, running my first triathlon (June), my first marathon (Dec), and his first Ironman (Sept). Outside of fitness and our busy work schedules, we love the ocean, the sun, and the beach!
